Exhibit Center
Getting Started

As you begin planning a new exhibit project, please consider the following:

Who Can Use the Exhibit Center

The Exhibit Center works with educators and researchers throughout Purdue Agriculture and Purdue Extension. We also partner with other colleges and entities on campus.

It is important to remember that successful projects require teamwork between the content specialists and AgComm staff. So AgComm needs content specialists to be willing partners in the process, meaning that specialists need to be prepared to provide the necessary text, photos, objects, and other materials to ensure the project's success.

The Production Process

Contact Us

Many factors go into planning any exhibit project (size, costs, etc.), so before beginning any project, please call us at (765) 496-7843.

We will meet to discuss all aspects of your project. During our conversation we will determine if the project is feasible, select the proper media to present the material, estimate costs, and set a working timeline for completion.

Complete Forms

You will need to complete a Request for Order or Quotation (RFOQ — which can be found in the Cooperative Extension Service Handbook) and submit it to the Agricultural Business Office. The business office will then forward a required ACS Form 1 with the appropriate account numbers and signatures.

Establish Timelines

Various factors influence how a project is produced and how long it takes. For example, large exhibits can take several months or years to plan and build, while smaller signs may take as little as a week. There is usually a waiting list, so the more lead time you can provide, the more likely you will be to have your project finished when you need it.
